Noel catches up with Iva Davies, the lead singer and co-founder of Icehouse. The Australian band is best known for their hit single, Electric Blue, which reached number seven on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1987. The band is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the debut album, Flowers, with a live album called Icehouse Plays Flowers Live.

Noel catches up with Jim Peterik. The talent musician/songwriter is probably best known for co-writing Survivor's Eye of the Tiger and Burning Heart for Rocky III and Rocky IV respectively. Jim tells me which Survivor song helped the band break free of the Rocky stigma.
Jim started out with The Ides of March. Their hit song, Vehicle, hit number two on the Billboard Hot 100. His latest band, Pride of Lions, released their latest album, Lion Heart, this year.

Noel catches up with Cy Curnin, the frontman of The Fixx. The band's signature single, "One Things Leads to Another," reached number four on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1983. Some of their other singles include "Saved by Zero", "Are We Ourselves?", and "Secret Separation", all of which reached the top 20. Cy talks about working with the late Rupert Hine, who produced The Fixx's first four albums. Find out the song the band turned down that became a massive hit in a certain John Hughes' movie. Cy released a solo album called, "Lockdown," earlier this year.

Noel catches up with Rob Preuss. The keyboardist was just 15 when he joined the Canadian band, Spoons (Romantic Traffic, Nova Heart). Rob spent five years with the band before joining Honeymoon Suite. After his stint with Honeymoon Suite, Rob joined the theater community, working on Mamma Mia! and Cats. Rob was one of the teachers who taught Rami Malek how to the piano for Bohemian Rhapsody.

I catch up with Gary Burke, who was the bassist in Breakfast Club. The band's single, Right on Track, reached number seven on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Breakfast Club was nominated for the Best New Artist Grammy in 1988. Madonna also got her start in an earlier version of the band. The documentary, Madonna and The Breakfast club details her time with the band.

Noel catches up with William Sanderson. The veteran character actor perhaps is best known as E. B. Farnum in HBO's Deadwood. Sanderson played Larry in Newhart from 1982 to 1990, famous for the catchphrase, "Hi. I'm Larry. This is my brother Darryl. This is my other brother Darryl." William has appeared in many movies, and is known for his role in the 1982 cult classic, Blade Runner as J. F. Sebastian. Last year, Sanderson released an autobiography about his career, Yes, I'm That Guy: The Rough-and-Tumble Life of a Character Actor.

Noel catches up with Burt Ward. The legendary actor is best known as Dick Grayson/Robin on the Batman 60's TV show. Burt received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame earlier this year. More importantly, Burt and his wife, Tracy, have rescued over 15,000 dogs. They have started Gentle Giants Dog Food and Care Programs.
