"The King of Freestyle" had seven top-40 hits, including the number one hit, "Because I Love You" (The Postman Song), the song spent four weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 during December 1990/January 1991. In August 2018, Billboard ranked the song the 71st-biggest hit in the history of the Hot 100. Stevie's latest single, "Take It All Back", is right up there with his other amazing songs like "Spring Love," "In My Eyes," "Dreamin' of Love," and more. Stevie recently entered the podcast world with his "Freestylin With Stevie B" podcast.

Noel catches up with Luke Esterkyn and Greg Gueldner of Stroke 9. The California-based band formed out of a high-school class project. Their biggest hit was 1999's "Little Black Backpack" from Nasty Little Thoughts. The album was produced by Talking Heads' keyboardist Jerry Harrison and Rupert Hines. Their follow-up album, Rip it Off, featured the song "Kick Some Ass" which was used in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

Noel catches up with Matthew Laurance. The former actor played Sal Amato in Eddie and The Cruisers. The movie is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. Matthew was a featured player on Saturday Night Live in 1980-81. Matthew' sitcom, Duet, was one of the very first show on the FOX network in 1987. He had a recurring role as Mel Silver on another FOX show, Beverly Hills, 90210. He left acting to work for the Duke basketball radio network. A role he had for a decade. He now host a sports talk radio show in Lexington, Kentucky.

Noel catches up with Josh Joplin. He has founded the bands, Josh Joplin Group and Among The Oak & Ash. He is set to release his first album in almost a decade with Among The Oak & Ash called, "Figure Drawing." His song "Camera One," with the Josh Joplin group, was the first independent release to hit number 1 at Triple A radio and went to 22 on the Billboard Top 40 chart in 2001. It won the "Single Of The Year" award by the American Association of Independent Music.

Frankie's second full-length album, Interstellar, was released in 2012 and earned a "Best New Music" designation from Pitchfork. Interstellar featured the hit song, Know Me. She was an original member of Crystal Stilts, Dum Dum Girls, Vivian Girls and Beverly.

Noel catches up with Steve Butler of Smash Palace. Steve and his brother, Brian, formed the new wave band, Quincy, in the 1970s. They released their self-titled debut album in 1980. Quincy Jones sent the band a trademark infringement cease-and-desist order and Quincy were no longer allowed to use the name and broke up soon afterward. The brothers formed Smash Palace a few years later and released their self-titled debut album in 1985 featuring the single "Living on the Borderline." The lineup has changed over the years but Steve has remained the one constant. Their latest album, 21, was released in 2021.

Noel catches up with Greg Kane, who is one half of the Scottish brotherly duo, Hue and Cry. Their biggest hit was 1987's "Labor of Love." The song was featured on the soundtrack for the video game Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City. The duo took a break following their 1999 album and reunited thanks to the tv show, "Hit Me Baby One More Time." Since then, they have released six albums with a seventh currently in production.
